I am a board certified and licensed Acupuncturist in Oregon. Certified Instructor in the Shen-Hammer Contemporary Chinese Pulse Diagnosis Lineage.

I graduated from the National University of Natural Medicine (NUNM) in 2016 with a Masters of Science in Oriental Medicine (MSOM). To further my training in Chinese Medicine, I pursued the Doctorate of Science in Oriental Medicine from my alma mater and graduated in June 2018. My time and efforts at school have been filled with rich experiences working with some of my most admired teachers.

To deepen my basis for diagnosis and treatment, in 2014, I began studying under the tutelage of Brandt Stickley LAc, Stephen Higgins LAc and Gwen LoVetere LAc in the art and science of pulse diagnosis. CCPD offers a diagnostic approach that assesses the radial pulse and produces the closest record that a practitioner can gain to a patients condition. This deeply intricate and an equally insightful assessment has allowed me to heighten the sensitivity of my diagnostic capabilities.

I was afforded the opportunity to take weekly classes outside of my schooling at NUNM, apprentice under the supervision of Stephen, and later assist in the teaching of seminars and classes. As of summer 2017, I earned an Assistant Instructor certification in the Shen-Hammer CCPD Lineage headed by Dr. Leon I. Hammer.

While attending school, I was introduced to the North American Tang Shou Tao Association (NATSTA) through classmates. The organization strives to study and teach martial arts in its purity as well as associated traditional healing modalities. Under the instruction of Sean Orlando, LAc and assistant instructors it became a pivotal experience from which I was able to know and embody Chinese medicine. As of 2014, I began practicing various styles of internal martial arts such as Tai Ji, Xing Yi, Ba Gua and Chinese Water Boxing. Alongside, I took on a two year apprenticeship with Sean in which I learned and practiced Medical Qi Gong, Jin Shou Tui Na (Golden Hand Tui Na or Chinese Medical Bodywork), Cranial-Sacral Techniques, Thai Massage, Acupuncture and Herbal medicine.
